The winner, Committee Of One (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 3 December 2020 where the mare finished eighth of nine runners, beaten by 34½ lengths.
It was noted that Tom Gretton could offer no explanation for Committee Of One (GB)’s improved form other than the fact it was the mare's first run in a handicap.
Committee Of One (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Robbie Dunne reported that Poniente (GB), placed fourth, ran too freely.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Llantara (GB), placed third, lost its left-fore shoe and Dylan's Sea Song (GB), placed eighth, also lost its left-fore shoe.
