An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving the winner, Great Ambassador (GB), ridden by Richard Kingscote, Dublin Pharaoh (USA), placed fourth, ridden by John Egan, Sparkling Or Still (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Shane Kelly, and Talking About You (GB), unplaced, ridden by Ben Curtis.
The interference was found to be accidental as Dublin Pharaoh (USA) was running free causing Egan to take a preventative check as Great Ambassador (GB), who was sufficiently clear, moved towards the rail causing Kelly to take a check and bump Curtis.
