The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Sea The Lion, ridden by G.M
Ryan, placed second, Perfect Tapatino (FR), ridden by D. O'Brien, unplaced, Persian Lion, ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth and War Diary (GB), ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental. They therefore made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards that are EBF eligible and that at entry have three or more times under any Rules of Racing, at least one of those runs having been over a distance of nine furlongs or more on or after 1st May, 2018 (100 = 10st) Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
