Miss P. Elvin, rider of Phils Choice trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got unbalanced at the top of the straight and made contact with the horse beside her. The Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted

Rules or Rules of Racing Weights - 4-y-o 11st 1lbs 5, 6 and 7-y-o 11st 11lbs Riders - Ladies who are Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Ladies who are Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 20th March) may also ride in this race.
