Elle-May Croot, the rider of Busby (IRE), drawn 7, was slow to remove the blindfold resulting in her horse being very slow to start.
Croot’s explanation that the gelding became restless in the stalls which resulted in her having to reposition Busby (IRE) before the start was effected and consequently, did not have her hand on the blind which therefore took two attempts to remove, was noted.
Being a 7Ib Claiming Apprentice, Croot was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
