The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the straight involving Alessia Fernanda, ridden by J.J.G
Ryan, unplaced, Roman Harry, ridden by R.M Mulligan, unplaced and Clarinbridge, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared Roman Harry received a bump. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G
Ryan stated that he edged out for a gap that was there, but on straightening up it closed and he had to check. Amy Jo Hayes stated that a gap had appeared that she could fill and felt she kept straight in doing so . R.M. Mulligan stated that he received a little pressure from his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Shoot To Kill, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was unruly in the stalls and jumped awkwardly.
