An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Perfect Symphony (IRE), placed second, ridden by Oliver Stammers, interfered with Holy Tiber (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Joey Haynes.
Stammers was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he manoeuvred right-handed when insufficiently clear, carrying Holy Tiber (IRE) notably off its intended line.
Being a 7Ib Claiming Apprentice, Stammers was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Following the race, Alistair Rawlinson reported that Tomshalfbrother (GB), which started joint second- favourite and finished sixth, was never travelling.
