The sponsorship in relation to Moon of Baroda (GB), trained by Hughie Morrison, did not comply with the Sponsorship Code of Conduct.

Nico de Boinville reported that the winner, Hijack (IRE), cocked its jaw and hung left-handed after jumping the final hurdle.
