The Stewards fined Henry de Bromhead, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Cool Saint (FR), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order
The Stewards enquired into the start of this race after evidence was made known to them after the "winner all right" signal that Devine Star was not in the line up when the race was started. Evidence was heard from Mr. P.F

Subsequent to this enquiry, the Stewards heard further evidence from Cathal Landers, rider, Mr P.L. Malone, IHRB Clerk of the Scales and Mr A. Mulrany, Assistant to the Clerk of the Scales. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards referred the matter to the CEO of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board
The Stewards enquired into an incident after the turn into the straight on the run to the second last hurdle involving Pietralunga (FR), ridden by D.J. Mullins, placed first, Castaliera, ridden by A.W. Short, unplaced and Trumps Ace, ridden by M.P. Burke, placed fourth, where it appeared that Trumps Ace may have been tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action
C.A. Landers, rider of Devine Star trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not take part in this race as the mare was at a different part of the track when the race was started.
