The Stewards enquired from C.M. Quirke, rider of Hopefully, who fell on the flat in this race while turning down the hill on the final circuit. The rider reported that his mount lost its action behind while rounding the bend and fell independently of any other horse. Having considered the report and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
Rachael Blackmore, rider of True Faith trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount slipped on the bend three furlongs out
C.P. McNamara, rider of Cahirdown Boy, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its footing travelling down the hill
