The Stewards interviewed L. Morris, rider of Caspian Prince, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height and having considered his record, they cautioned him in this regard for the future.

For three yrs old and upwards that have not finished first, second or third in a Listed or Group race
