Permission was given for Major Snugfit (GB) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute and for Sioux Frontier (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner Flash Point (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Catterick on 25 August 2020 where the gelding finished ninth of eleven runners, beaten by 110 lengths.
Tracy Waggott’s explanation that the gelding had benefited from the application of cheek pieces on this occasion, was noted.
Flash Point (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Harrison Shaw reported that Sioux Frontier (IRE), placed eighth, had ran too freely.
