Currie was suspended for 6 days for careless riding as she maneuvered left-handed when insufficiently clear, carrying POET’S PRIDE onto Pearl Acclaim (IRE), which was badly tightened for room and carried across the running of Kommander Kirkup (GB), which had to be severely checked, and in turn resulted in Muatadel (GB) and Sir Geoffrey (IRE) becoming unbalanced when bumped by Pearl Acclaim (IRE).
Following the race, Nicky Mackay reported that Fly True (GB), placed seventh, had no more to give and Nicola Currie reported that Coiste BoDhar (IRE), unplaced, hung right off the home bend.
Toby Eley reported that The Golden Cue (GB), placed third, hung right.
