Approaching 1 ½ furlongs out, the winner, Intervention (GB) hung sharply right carrying Porfin (IRE), placed third, off its intended line which resulted in Beauty Choice (GB), placed fourth, being carried off it’s intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved and it had not improved the placing of any runner.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the line involving Intervention (GB), ridden by Jason Watson and Beauty Choice (GB), ridden by Neil Callan.
Watson was cautioned for careless riding as he had overcorrected Intervention (GB) to its left, resulting in Callan having to take a slight check off heels.
