On the bend turning into the back straight on the final circuit, Chasma (GB), placed second, shifted left-handed causing a knock on effect to Brian Boranha (IRE), placed fourth, which in turn interfered with Lachlan Bridge (GER), unplaced, which in turn caused Scoop The Pot (IRE), unplaced, to be short of room against the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Chasma (GB).
