The performance of Path To Freedom (IRE), which started second-favourite and finished seventh, beaten by 36½ lengths, was considered.
Page Fuller reported that the gelding was never travelling and Jacqueline Coward explained that Path To Freedom (IRE) was unsuited by the undulations of the track on this occasion.
The gelding was routine tested.
