Shaughnessy (GB), trained by Alison Hamilton, lost a cheekpiece in the early stages of the race.
Having recovered and examined the cheekpiece, the Stewards were satisfied that it was in a serviceable condition and took no further action.
Following the race, Aidan Coleman reported that Ballyegan Hero (IRE), placed sixth, made a mistake at the third and didn’t travel fluently thereafter.
The Veterinary Office reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing of the gelding, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
