Queally was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he shifted right-handed, when insufficiently clear, resulting in Morris becoming unbalanced on Omniscient (GB) and Kingscote having to take a check on Blow Your Horn (IRE).
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Pons Aelius (IRE), placed fifth, was never travelling.
