An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the bend leaving the back straight, when Just Hiss (GB), unplaced, ridden by Ella McCain interfered with Headingley (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Ben Curtis.
McCain was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift left-handed causing Curtis to check for several strides.
Following the race, Ben Curtis reported that Headingley (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference on the bend leaving the back straight; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Headingley (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
