Carp Kid (IRE) spread a plate in the parade ring and was re-shod causing a slight delay to the start of this race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Carp Kid (IRE), placed second, ridden by Finley Marsh, interfered with Cheeky Rascal (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Luke Catton.
Marsh was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to hang right-handed without sufficient correction across the running of Cheeky Rascal (IRE) causing Catton to take a significant check.
Marco Ghiani, the rider of Last Enchantment (IRE), placed fourth, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from just inside 2 furlongs.
Following the race, Megan Nicholls reported that the winner, Arctic Sea (GB), was slowly away and the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding lost its left fore shoe.
Luke Catton reported that Cheeky Rascal (IRE), placed fifth, was denied a clear run.
