Permission was given for Jungle Boogaloo (IRE) to be mounted in the chute, go early and be led to post.
The raceday privilege request in relation to Jungle Boogaloo (IRE), trained by Philip McBride, was late being submitted.
McBride was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong after the start involving Hot Romance (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Dylan Hogan; Wiff Waff (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Angus Villiers; Vincenzo Coccotti (USA), placed fifth, ridden by George Rooke; Eljaytee (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Trevor Whelan; Lady Amalthea (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Stevie Donohoe, and Jungle Boogaloo (IRE), placed third, ridden by Marco Ghiani.
The interference was found to be accidental as the riders of both Wiff Waff (GB) and Vincenzo Coccotti (USA), which were running keenly, had eased their mounts when trying to settle them, causing those runners in behind to have to be checked to avoid clipping heels.
The Clerk of the Scales reported that Stevie Donohoe, the rider of Lady Amalthea (IRE), placed fourth, trained by Michael Appleby, had weighed in at 9 stone ½ lb, having weighed out at 8 stone 12 lbs.
The rider, the Clerk of the Scales, and the representative of Michael Appleby were interviewed.
Donohoe was suspended for 3 days for weighing in at more than 2lb overweight.
Following the race, Joey Haynes reported that Hanoverian King, placed sixth, was never travelling.
