D.F. O'Regan, rider of La Tektor (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't move well
The Stewards interviewed Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Mr Adjudicator (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3(i) (time to respond) and having take his record into account suspended him for 1 race day
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined La Tektor (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mr Adjudicator (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer's representative, Mr. P. Delmer, reported that this horse was tried in earplugs last time which were not used today, the horse was also tried in a new bit today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
