Gavlar (GB), trained by William Knight, and Tin Fandango (GB), trained by Mark Usher, were both late in the Parade Ring due to the previous race being late off.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Colwood (GB), placed third, ridden by Darragh Keenan, interfered with Continuum (GB), placed second, ridden by Tom Queally, which in turn interfered with Yvette (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Luke Morris.
Keenan was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed without timely correction, taking Continuum (GB) off its intended line and causing Morris to have to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Josephine Gordon reported that Tin Fandango (GB), placed seventh, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Robert Winston reported that Lucy Lou (IRE), placed eighth, hung left-handed from halfway; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Eoin Walsh reported that Break The Rules (GB), placed fourth, ran in snatches.
