An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 4 furlongs out involving Urban Dandy (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Nolan; The Princes Poet (GB), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen; Dollarindex (GB), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Breslin; Pink Stripes (GB), unplaced, ridden by Elisha Whittington; Kyber Crystal (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Alistair Rawlinson and Tees Douge (FR), placed second, ridden by Duran Fentiman.
The interference was found to be accidental as Tees Douge (FR) hung badly left-handed despite Fentiman’s best efforts to correct the gelding, carrying The Princes Poet (GB) off its intended line causing Kyber Crystal (IRE) to take a significant check off heels, which resulted in Urban Dandy (IRE) to be tightened for room, further causing Dollarindex (GB) to be badly hampered when short for room on the rail.
Shortly thereafter Tees Douge (FR) continued to carry The Princes Poet (GB) left-handed causing Mullen to take a check, which in turn caused Pink Stripes (GB) to be short of room against the rail and Whittington to take a check.
Following the race, David Nolan reported that Urban Dandy (IRE), unplaced, stumbled leaving the stalls and suffered interference approximately 4 furlongs out.
Andrew Breslin reported that Dollarindex (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 4 furlongs out and felt something amiss shortly after, feeling prudent to ease his mount.
Elisha Whittington reported that Pink Stripes (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 4 furlongs out.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Athollblair Boy (IRE), placed fifth, had lost its right-fore shoe.
Andrew Mullen reported The Princes Poet (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 4 furlongs out.
Alistair Rawlinson reported that Kyber Crystal (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 4 furlongs out.
