Permission was given for Imperiousity (GB) to go early to post; for Tantalus (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Stewards gave permission for Tantalus (IRE), trained by Ben Haslam, to run without its left-hind shoe, as the gelding was unable to be re-shod having lost the shoe in the stables.
Irish Dancer (IRE) made contact with the plastic railings leaving the parade ring.
Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
The Starter reported that Hombre (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 3:53pm.
Joseph Parr was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The performance of Agnes Grey (IRE), which finished eighth of eleven runners beaten 16 ¾ lengths, was considered.
It was noted that the representative of John & Sean Quinn could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer examined Agnes Grey (IRE) post-race during routine testing and had nothing report.
