Permission was given for Zim Baby (GB) to wear a hood in the parade ring only.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 1½ furlongs out when Dakota Gold (GB), placed third, ridden by Connor Beasley interfered with Copper Knight (IRE), which dead heated for first place, ridden by David Allan.
Beasley was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to hang right without timely correction, taking Copper Knight (IRE) briefly off its intended line.
Approximately 1½ furlongs out, a weakening Zargun (GER), unplaced, lugged right-handed causing the rider of Illusionist (GER), unplaced, to ease when short of room but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
For some distance approaching the 1-furlong marker, Sunday Sovereign (GB), unplaced, hung persistently right-handed despite the rider's best efforts to straighten the gelding, tightening up Makanah (GB), placed fourth, which in turn made contact with Danzeno (GB), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Connor Beasley reported that Dakota Gold (GB), placed third, hung right in the closing stages.
Paul Mulrennan reported that Makanah (GB) was denied a clear run and James Sullivan reported that Sunday Sovereign (GB) hung right.
