Permission was given for Khatwah (IRE) to go early to post and be mounted on the chute and for Night Narcissus (IRE) to go early to post.
Leaving the stalls, the winner, Night Narcissus (IRE), jumped right as Cry Havoc (IRE), placed third, jumped left causing Amber Island (IRE), placed second, to become short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Night Narcissus (IRE).
