D.N. Russell, rider of High Stratos (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly throughout. The Stewards interviewed P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Man Of Erin, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 32(ii) and cautioned him accordingly. The Stewards fined W. McCreery, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Fourni, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.
