Permission was given for Tundra (GER) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only and for both Zambezi Magic (GB) and Bay Of Naples (IRE) to go early to post.
The Raceday privilege request in relation to Tundra (GER), trained by David Evans, was not submitted.
Evans was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all Raceday privilege requests are submitted before 1pm on the day before racing.
The winner Emiyn (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Pontefract on 28 June 2021 where the gelding finished sixth of six, beaten by 16 lengths on going described as Good, Good to Firm in places.
Declan Carroll’s explanation that Emiyn (FR) had appreciated returning to easier ground conditions of Good to Soft, Soft in places on this occasion was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Tyler Heard reported that Flatley (GB), unplaced, ran too free and Dougie Costello reported that Bay Of Naples (IRE), placed seventh, was never travelling.
