The Starter reported that Mr Potter (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn.

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when the winner, Tarseekh (GB), ridden by Seamus Cronin, interfered with Caledonian Gold (GB), placed third, ridden by Hector Crouch.
Being a 7lb apprentice, Cronin was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Cronin was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he maneuvered quickly left handed shortly after the start, resulting in Crouch becoming very short of room and having to take a significant check.
Seamus Cronin, the rider of Tarseekh (GB), drawn 8, had appeared not to keep straight from the stalls.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, the rider was suspended for 1 day.

Following the race, Liam Jones reported that Little Miss Kodi, placed fourth, was denied a clear run, Kieren Fox reported that Seaquinn (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run, Hollie Doyle reported that Dotty Grand (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed off the final bend and Paddy Mathers reported that Melo Pearl (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run approaching the final furlong.
John Egan reported that Admirable Art (IRE), unplaced, moved poorly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
