Ben Poste, the rider of French De Guye (IRE), placed seventh, was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, but Brogan was unable to be interviewed owing to his injuries.
It was found that the incident was accidental and was caused by Frau Georgia (IRE), appearing to clip the heels of a weakening French De Guye (IRE).
Fergus Gregory, the rider of Mon Port (IRE), which was later pulled up, was also interviewed but as he was sat in behind both runners, he had no opinion to offer on the incident as he did not have sufficient views.
