He might go for the Greenlands and he’s entered for both sprints at Royal Ascot. He obviously won’t go there if it’s lightning fast ground, so the weather will decide. The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Ocean Quest, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, and Gabriella's Spirit, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared there was slight contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that he kept a straight line and got through the gap as soon as it appeared. C.D. Hayes stated that he got a small bump but was going backwards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aesop's Fables, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
