The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Drop The Dip, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gillian Scott, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Relevant Range, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Gillian Scott stated that after the horses last run at Killarney on August 23rd her charge had scoped badly which was reported to the IHRB as required under Rule 213. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.
