An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong, involving the winner Aristobulus (GB), ridden by Kevin Stott, Percy Willis (GB), placed fourth, ridden by P J McDonald, Lexington Knight (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Rossa Ryan and Jacks Profit (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jordan Williams.
The interference was found to be accidental as Aristobulus (GB) had edged slightly left-handed at the same time as Lexington Knight lugged right-handed away from Jacks Profit (IRE), which resulted in Percy Willis (GB) being hampered and losing its position when tightened for room.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Lexington Knight (IRE), placed fifth, raced lazily and Taylor Fisher reported that Bugle Major (USA), unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
