Upon leaving the stalls, Princess T (GB), placed third and Mountrath (GB), placed eighth, bumped heavily with each losing ground, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Hy Eales (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Shane Kelly and Jeddeyd (IRE), placed second, ridden by Elisha Whittington.
The interference was found to be accidental as Jeddeyd (IRE) had edged slightly left-handed as Beau Geste (IRE), unplaced, shifted right-handed when cornering awkwardly, causing the rider of a free running Hy Eales (IRE) to steady his mount when short of room.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 ½ furlongs out involving Beau Geste (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mollie Phillips and Hy Eales (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Shane Kelly.
Kelly was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to move left-handed, towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Beau Geste (IRE), causing Phillips to take a check when short of room.
