The Stewards enquired into the apparent delayed deployment of the screens following the fall of WHEN YOU’RE READY (IRE).
The Clerk of the Course was interviewed.
The Stewards noted the Clerk of the Course's explanation that the Veterinary Surgeon, who was in immediate attendance, requested a delay in the deployment of the screens to allow them appropriate space to assess the gelding.
Following the race, The Veterinary Officer reported that When You're Ready (IRE), which fell at the second last hurdle, was lame on its left fore.
