She was a little bit keen the last day in Cork but we learned from that to settle her today. She quickened up beautifully up the rail and that bit of speed seemed to catch them out. I have her in the Group 3 Munster Oaks (June 14) in Cork and she’ll probably go for that. She’s a grand big filly and is still learning her game. She gave a good blow there so she’ll improve again. The Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Tipitena (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that W.J. Lee was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended W.J. Lee for 1 raceday.
