CHASE (CLASS 4) An enquiry was held to consider the circumstances into why there was a missing section of running rail on the bend turning into the home straight.
The Clerk of the Course was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
Having heard his evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
The performance of West Approach (GB), which was pulled up, was considered.

The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing of West Approach (GB) failed to reveal abnormalities.
