Passing the 2 furlong marker, Reve De Magritte (FR), placed third, was switched right-handed to avoid the heels of Hoof It Hoof It (IRE), placed second, causing it to make contact with Snow Girl (GB), unplaced, resulting in that filly being moved off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Reve De Magritte (FR).
Following the race, David Allan reported that Alseeyerthere (GB), placed fifth, was continually denied a clear run from approaching 1½ furlongs out, James Doyle reported that his saddle slipped on Snow Girl (GB), unplaced, approximately 1½ furlongs out, and Luke Morris reported that Rhubarb (GB), unplaced, slipped on the first bend.
