It was great to see it. He was under pressure a long way out and I wasn't too confident looking at him coming around the home bend. Fair play to him, he kept pulling it out of the bag. We'll just keep tipping away with him, looking for more of the same. It does look like he will get further than that, and we'll probably try him over further in time. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Shake The Bucket, ridden by N.P. Madden, placed second and Robin De Roost, ridden by J.M. Moore, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action. R.A. Doyle, rider of Sea's Aria trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not let itself down on the ground. J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Burning Issues trained by Thomas James, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in running.
