1st - €45,570.00, 2nd - €14,000.00, 3rd - €7,000.00, 4th - €2,800.00 7 Ran Truly Mine was highly tried last season, finishing fifth in both the Irish Guineas and Pretty Polly.
The in-foal mare secured a valuable Listed prize here with a gutsy performance to hold off the late surge of Allicansayis Wow.
Tracking the English raider Flying Clarets throughout she moved to the front a furlong-and-a-half out and kept on gamely close home to land the spoils.
The winner was easy to back (9/2 to 6/1 morn and 13/2 to 8/1 on course) after a poor run at the Curragh last Sunday, when she trailed in last of nine behind Marjalina.
Pat Smullen revealed that she had been found out by the "deep ground" then and added that the fast pace suited here. The stewards were also informed that she had run freely in blinkers last time.
Allicansayis Wow, held up in the early stages, moved closer before the turn and went second a furlong out. She stayed on strongly without pegging back the winner.
This was an encouraging return to action and she looks capable of holding her own in pattern company this season.
A winner on her debut last season she failed to build on that. Tried over five furlongs on her last start of the year here in November this was a significant step up in trip and she saw it out well.
Queen Of France threw down her challenge on the outside in the final furlong and looked briefly like running down the front two, but flattened out in the closing stages.
She failed to cut much ice when tried in decent company last season but looks worth another chance at this level, perhaps over slightly shorter.
Flying Clarets, a handicap winner at Pontefract last time, took them along and ran well. She kept on at the same pace after being headed.
Simawa was all the rage (9/4 to 7/4 morn and 6/4 to 11/10 on course). She came under pressure two furlongs out, however, and couldn't pick up. She kept on at the one pace.
