An enquiry was held to consider interference from 1½ furlongs out involving Once Adaay (GB), placed fifth, ridden by George Wood; Sajwaan (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by William Carson; and Byefornow (GB), unplaced, ridden by Laura Pearson.
The interference was found to be accidental as Wood had switched Once Adaay (GB) right-handed for a run into a legitimate gap at the same time as Sajwaan (IRE) shifted left-handed away from the whip before being corrected by Carson, causing Pearson to take a check for several strides on Byefornow (GB).
Following the race, Laura Pearson reported that Byefornow (GB), unplaced, suffered interference inside the final furlong.
