The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the final bend involving Global Jackpot (GB), ridden by D.F
O'Regan, placed fifth, Star Max (GER), ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed second and Stormey, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and therefore took no further action.
