The Stewards requested a report from A.P.O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lucius Tiberius, placed first, as compared with its most recent form. The trainer reported that his charge appeared to appreciate the drop back in trip today and felt this had contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
