The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Easy Boy, trained by Patrick Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race
GENERAL INFORMATION The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. R.S. Martin (Chairman), Mr. L. McFerran, Mr. C.P. Magnier, Mrs T.K. Cooper, Mr. M.F. O'Donoghue
The Stewards met to consider a report from Mr. C. Gordon, Irish Horse Regulatory Board Senior Security Officer, concerning a verbal altercation in the stable yard prior to the commencement of racing. The Stewards interviewed Mr. B. Daly and Mr. W. Buckley, stable yard security staff, Miss K. Browne, Trainer and Mr. D. Dunne, Assistant Trainer to Miss K. Browne. Mr. B. Daly stated that he was verbally abused with bad language on two separate occasions by Mr. D. Dunne. Mr. W. Buckley confirmed the evidence of Mr. B. Daly. Mr D. Dunne did not accept that he verbally abused Mr. B. Daly, that it was a misunderstanding and he apologised. Miss K. Browne stated that she did not witness the verbal altercation. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. D. Dunne was in breach of Rule 272, and having considered his previous record in this regard severely reprimanded him regarding his verbal behaviour on this occasion. The Stewards further informed Mr D. Dunne that any future breach of Rule 272 in relation to his conduct could render him liable to being referred to the Referrals Committee and his right to admission to the stable yard possibly being withdrawn
