Hopefully we will pick up a few more as he has dropped down to a really workable mark. He won off 98 last August. He'll keep going until he tells me he needs a break! . She kept him balanced and she didn't panic. When she couldn't make it early, she didn't panic. I was worried myself because it looked like he wasn't going early. Maybe he is just getting clever and he is saving himself at the start for the finish but he kicked clear at the end. We'll crack on now and get the whole yard back in form. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Inflection Point, ridden by D.P
McDonogh, unplaced, Geological, ridden by Nikita Amelia Kane, placed first, Acquiescent, ridden by D
McMonagle, placed sixth and Drummond Warrior, ridden by Sorcha Woods, unplaced, where it appeared Acquiescent and Drummond Warrior got tight for room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.P. McDonogh stated that horses got congested ahead of him in the straight and he had to check off heels. D. McMonagle stated that he received pressure from his outside and had to take back off heels as it became very tight. Sorcha Woods stated she got bumped at which point she grabbed a hold of her mount and rebalanced
Nikita Amelia Kane stated that her mount edged right and she gave him a slap behind the saddle to try to keep him straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They did however find Nikita Amelia Kane in breach of Rule 214 (Careless Riding) and having taken her record into account suspended her for two race days
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Inflection Point trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount dwelt at the start and got no run in the straight
D. McMonagle, rider of Acquiescent, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check after the road
Sorcha Woods, rider of Drummond Warrior trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount had to check two furlongs out
