An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 2 furlongs out involving Equidae (GB), placed third, ridden by Andrew Mullen and Lexi The One (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Barry McHugh.
The interference was found to be accidental as Lexi The One (IRE) initially ducked left, causing Equidae (GB) to become unbalanced whilst in the process of edging right off the heels of the winner, Liamba (GB), which subsequently caused Lexi The One (IRE) to be shifted slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Equidae (GB), placed third, hung right in the home straight.
