Having made her racecourse debut earlier this month and finished eight-lengths behind Beach Bunny and the Catcher In The Rye filly obviously learnt a lot from that experience.
Having been second behind Crystal Swan for a long way, Liturgy took it up over a furlong out and resisted the challenge of a number of rivals to win in admirable fashion, suggesting there may be more to come.
Randomed Bride claimed the runner up spot and this was a better effort than her debut at the Curragh last season. Held up for a long part of the extended ten-furlong contest, the daughter of Cape Cross finished strongly to go down by a length and a quarter.
Masiyma came from mid division to challenge but just couldn't quicken away and she should come on for her first run in 177 days. Her wide draw didn't help things although that will be no consolation to odds on punters.
It was a very credible effort by front runner Crystal Swan who had gone about five-lengths in front and despite not being able to quicken at the death, she stayed on gamely to claim fourth.
Living By Numbers seems to be improving gradually and may be able to find a similar contest up here to gain a first success.
Ice Queen finished seventh and just never really got competitive.
