An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Jack Out Of Reach (GB), placed second, ridden by Micheal Nolan, and the winner, Farland (IRE), ridden by Harry Cobden.
Nolan was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed without sufficient correction causing Farland (IRE) to be short of room against the rail.
Pulling up after the winning line, the winner, Farland (IRE) shifted quickly right-handed causing Jack Out Of Reach (GB), placed second, to clip a heel, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
