The Stewards received a report from Ms. Joan Taylor M.V.B., M.R.C.V.S., Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that she was unable to positively identify Keep On Running, trained by Neill McCluskey
Evidence was heard from the trainer and the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer. The Veterinary Officer stated that the microchip could not be found, despite the use of three different scanners. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Keep On Running as the horse could not be identified in the manner specified under Rule 90 (iii) and referred the matter to the Referrals Committee
Mr E. Mahon, rider of Sevvy Christiano trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Sevvy Christiano trained by Patrick G.Kelly was found to have blood at both nostrils post race
